The Sassafras is our most private cabin. Secluded at the end of a driveway, it is surrounded by nature. One can hear the mountain streams from the large, covered porch. The furnishings are appropriately rustic yet modern in every since of the word. Free, dependable, high-speed, fiber internet and a smart TV are just two of the recent upgrades. In winter enjoy the floor to ceiling stacked stone gas log fireplace. Hike to a mountain top or visit a rushing stream...all without leaving the property.

Serene, rustic cabin nestled in the majestic mountains of Franklin NC. Soak in nature while rocking on the porch or warmth of the gas logs in the stone fireplace. Numerous acres of land to explore outside your doorstep, or easy access to white water rafting, hiking, gem mining, and quaint downtown Franklin. In the early mornings or at dusk, look for the deer that frequent the property. Often you will see fawns frolicking in the field under the fruit trees. A 100 year old corn crib harkens back to the early days when this land was part of a working farm.
