It’s so close and accessible between Wasilla and Palmer right alongside the highway. Parking is free on the driveway down to the park. Walk down trails and fish from the shore. Our grandson caught a 21” rainbow in 5-2020. Rent a boat and do it in style.

This is a great place to fish as it's well stocked with trout. Family favorite.
