We love this lake but you have to go to the right place! We like to take the entrance just past the lake. That second entrance takes you to a fork. The left fork will lead you to the lower lake. The upper fork will take you to the dam. OUR FAVORITE SPOT. Lots of locals! Fishing, dam jumping, adventure jumping. Take the trail to the right just after you cross the dam. The trail will take you to the picnic area. Sweet trail. Lots of wild flowers.

Great place for a picnic. There are public BBQ grills and restrooms. Nice big dock to fish from. There is a short hiking trail that will take you to a cool looking dam. Relaxing place. Maybe closed from Jan 1st - April 1st.
