lovely reservoir walk, with lots of picnic areas around the reservoir, plus different walking trails. Restaurant on site. £2 to park the car

There is a brilliant park with incredible views, bike track, cafe and a number of different walks including an animal trail for children to follow.

I've been visiting Garwnant since I was a kid. The visitor center is a base for some excellent short walks. Many of the paths are very well maintained and take in some beautiful sights, including sections of dense forest. A nice afternoon out for solo travelers, families and couples.

We absolutely love it here. There is a brilliant park with incredible views, bike track, cafe and a number of different walks including an animal trail for children to follow.

Great views and many walks from this forest centre just off the A470 on the way to Brecon. Lovely cafe too. The taff trail passes the centre.
