A cozy cabin over looking the Manistee River on a very safe & peaceful private drive. There are many launch sites for rafting, kayaking and canoeing nearby. The cabin is centrally located between Cadillac, Interlochen, Frankfort & Traverse City. Snowmobile staging area, Caberfae & Crystal Mt. ski areas, Hodenpyle dam backwaters, North Country & Manistee River trails are nearby. Relax & play at the cozy Betsie River Log Cabin. We work hard to make your stay the best. The cabin is on the Betsie River in Thompsonville, MI, 5 miles from Crystal Mountain Ski & Golf & Spa Resort. Within 30 min of Frankfort/Lk Michigan, Traverse City , Beulah/Crystal Lake, & approx 20 min from Interlochen Music Camp. Lakes & the Betsie River surround the area, making fishing and boating easily accessible. The BRLC is a nonsmoking property with a full house generator/new baby gear on sight.

Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .

Orv trails abound, and in the winter, this year round cabin is in the heart of the snow belt with some of the best snowmobiling in the lower peninsula.

Sommer's Retreat

Sommer's Retreat is a year round northwoods cabin nestled in the pines and surrounded by a 300 acre nature preserve. Our location is a short distance from the Jordan River Valley and within 20 minutes of the south arm of Lake Charlevoix, Torch Lake, Lake Michigan, Shanty Creek Schuss Mountain Resorts, Glacial Hills, orchards and farm markets. The cabin is a spacious two story retreat that will sleep 6 in two bedrooms and a loft. Guests have access to cabin wifi.
