You need a rest. See you soon™️ Since 2022, Quixote Farm has become a beloved getaway for countless guests who have returned time and again to enjoy the farms uniquely restorative effects. Modeled after a European farmstay, guests love walking in the orange groves, visiting with the rescue animals, shopping in the farmshop, enjoying a beautiful breakfast, or taking in our very popular sunset and charcuterie experience. Note:European Farmstays are exactly that: A family farm. Not a 5-star resort.

An oasis on a private retreat

A beautifully secluded area (40+ acres) surrounded by natural beauty with lovely views of Elkhorn Slough and the Pacific Ocean, away from the maddening crowd. Yet, accessible to Carmel / Pebble Beach / Santa Cruz. A variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, bicycling, kayaking, golfing and whale watching. A full breakfast is served daily. It should also be noted it is a gated property and the home is accessed through a dirt / gravel private country lane which is 0.75 mile from the gate.

The Nest in the Boulders

Stunning location with sweeping views. Park-like setting with hiking and rock climbing access directly from our back yard. Perfect location close to Joshua Tree Park and Pioneer town. The Nest is clean and comfortable. Tastefully decorated with an eclectic twist and totally private. Perfect nature immersion for hikers, a romantic retreat for couples or just a sweet little week-end getaway for anyone in need of some evening chill time under the stars, sipping a glass of wine on the back patio.

We call our place Casita Pacifica (Peaceful Little House) as this suite is a mellow and relaxing retreat, yet in a San Diego suburb only 10-20 minutes from everything. Sadly, we no longer host peacocks, but our space is decorated in memory of their majestic energy. Our standards are high when we travel, so we created a suite that we'd love to stay in ourselves: stocked with goodies, things to do, recommendations, privacy, comfort & above all - cleanliness. Nestled among the redwoods of Cazadero, Gravenstein Cottage is located in the oasis of Elim Grove, on the grounds of the award-winning Raymond's Bakery – the perfect place to unwind and enjoy Sonoma County. Decompress from the stresses of everyday life on a comfy six foot antique couch beside a real wood stove. Or refresh yourself with a hot shower under the bathroom skylight. Relax in the queen bed watching the golden varigated leaves of bamboo sway gently in the breeze outside your window.

Gorgeous, comfortable two bedroom Suite

Our light-filled lower level suite has been fully remodeled (completed Feb 2019) and includes two bedrooms (up to 4 Queen beds), a large media room with a fold-out couch bed, and one full bathroom. Total space is approximately 1000 square feet with a private entrance. Amenities include all the perks of our media room and a kitchenette. We wash all linens included Duvet covers between guests. Please see below for Coronavirus precautions we are taking to ensure complete safety for guests.

If you want to experience the comfort of a hobbit hole in a beautiful setting, this is your next destination! From the moment you walk through our round doors, you'll be pampered with rich furnishings, a cozy king-sized bed, spacious shower, plush bathrobes and unique details. Second breakfast is included! Inspired by Meriadoc Brandybuck (Merry to his friends), it features the rich tones of Meduseld and the wood and stone of Fanghorn forest. Make sure to check out all four hobbit holes!

Montgomery Vineyard was once part of the oldest dairy farm in San Luis Obispo County. The unique accommodations offers guests an eclectic décor of antiques and memorabilia from behind the camera in Hollywood. The views from the large, private deck are of the vineyard and the vineyard covered hills beyond. It is a lovely, relaxing place to enjoy a complimentary bottle of wine made from the grapes grown in Montgomery Vineyard. Beautiful Avila Beach is just down the road.
