The apartment steps out onto a private lower deck overlooking the lake. Our place is good for couples, adventurers, business people, and families.

The untouched mountain provides an interesting before and after contrast to the power of Mother Nature, along with the amazing pace of her recovery. In many ways our woods are prettier than ever. Asheville is a 30 minute drive.

Internet password is on the fridge and you can log onto your favorite streaming accounts. We thoroughly clean and disinfect after every guest. No smoking anywhere on the property.

Come visit Above the Clouds! You're at 3200 feet on 9 private acres, with amazing views of our beautiful Western NC mountains. Everything you need is in your separate and private 650 sqft floor, which is the lower level of our home on top of the mountain. We're in the middle of nature, so be prepared to share space with deer, bear, coyotes, fireflies, and lady bugs. Mini-Frig, Microwave, Keurig coffee with coffee supplies.
