Private, heavily treed, and peaceful, you will find this cabin to be a great place to get away and enjoy natural beauty in any season. To the town of Mena, AR, it is about a 15 minute drive. WELCOME to the Bearcat Bungalow; the perfect place to get away after a day at Blue Mountain Lake or a hike on Mt. Magazine. This cute and charming little house is only about 13 miles from Blue Mountain Lake, and 10 miles from Mt. Magazine and the Ouachita National Forest, where there are endless hours, ATV, and hiking trails. For our guests with outside pets, we offer an 8x10 pen for your furry friend! This is perfect for anyone coming to town for the J. Perry Mikles field trials.

Relax in this simple, open floor plan little house with an amazing view of the Ouachita river and mountains. 2 bedrooms, one bath, living area, and great outdoor patio over looking the river. Enjoy the fully stocked kitchen, fresh linens, and bath items. Can sleep 7, although it's most comfortable for a family of 4. There will be an extra fee per person. The cleaning for 6-7 people is $50, even for a short-term stay. pets are allowed for a $10 per trip, PER PET fee.

The Cottage at Acorn is located in the Heart of the Ouachita Mountains and only 4 miles to Mena. The Cottage is a double cylinder block mother-in-law suite, with concrete floors, pine ceilings and vintage decorations. Walking distance from a playground, walking track, and Veterans Memorial Park. Covered concrete parking (with a basketball goal) and an outdoor covered patio. There are 2 entrances, please use The Veterans Memorial Park entrance on Highway 71.
