The apartment is beautiful and has everything you need for your stay. The view is spectacular, sunsets were absolutely breathtaking. The residence is fine and has security.
A few downsides: as mentioned, the AC is not really working. We managed with the ceiling fans and opening windows/doors, it was ok. Also the neighbourhood is not great with a lot of homeless people and not many things to do. We spent our days elsewhere on the island (sometimes with long drives) so it worked well for us but if you want to have cute surroundings, this might not be it.
Overall, still a great stay!

The place was absolutely as described. The views were even better in person. The air-conditioning isn't great, but we just kept the bedroom door shut to keep the cool air in there which worked fine. Be aware that if you open the front door and the sliding glass door there will be strong gusts of wind through the living space. We hope to come back again some time. Mahalo Holt and Gail!!

A/C does NOT work! It was 79-83 the entire time we were there. The afternoon sun made it hotter. Changing the temp did nothing. It’s also very loud. Curtains very thin and did nothing to keep out heat.

Regretted cooking because that only made it hotter!

The view is great and sunsets are beautiful. Very modern, clean and comfortable beds.
Thankful for fans, but it can be hard to sleep with the heat!
The suggestion to open the doors/window slots didn’t work because bugs would come in.

Asked host about it after checked in but never got a response. (They read it but didn’t reply!).

Holt and Gail’s Airbnb was perfect for my wife and I’s honeymoon! It was nice to have a quiet place away from the city and also a perfect view of the beach from the balcony. The little touches they made to their place made for a more welcoming and cozy experience.
