Best bagels in town! EVERYTHING on the menu is great! Since it is so delicious expect a wait for seating, but it’s worth it.

The General Muir is a tribute to the classic Jewish deli and bakery. It was featured in the New York Times as "Atlanta's Best Breakfast 2016" and in Atlanta Magazine as one of the 50 Best Restaurants in Atlanta.

Elevated NYC-Jewish-deli-inspired food. Good for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or cocktails!

The atmosphere at the General Muir is beautiful, white subway tile and clean modern tables. We love the deviled eggs with pickled vegetables for a starter, the veggies (green beans, onions, cauliflower) were sweetly pickled and very tasty. The Reuben sandwich is piled high and delicious. and the trout with vegetables is superb. The trout was cooked just perfectly, crispy skin, tender and juicy, not a bit overcooked. The vegetable mix was corn, black eyed peas, and okra, very understated at first, then better with every bite.
