Head to the beach cafe for breakfast before exploring Snowhill creek on the way to East Head.

Amazing Huge Sandy beach. Can be dangerous currents. please obey the RNLI lifeguards!! Traffic can get very busy on a beach day.. Local knowledge.. approach via East Wittering.. this will get you round most of the traffic jam.

East Head is a moving spit of sand at the end of West Wittering beach with stunning views of The Isle of Wight & the harbours of Chichester. It is my favourite walk with our Cavapoo Bentley. The walk all the way round the spit takes about 45 minutes. It is an absolute must during your stay. You will still have to book the car park but it is worth it. Postcode PO20 8AJ

This spit is looked after by the National Trust and is a wonderful walk, summer or winter. Don't miss this. If you have cabin-fever, it's a proven cure.
