Established in 2017 by old friends, Ragged Island exists to share a passion for indulgent libations. Head Brewer Tony Barber brings skills he developed over years working in the industry to keep the tap lines flowing with a diverse and constantly evolving lineup of beer. The local brewing co. based in Portsmouth recently expanded, now encompassing a taproom and a 37-acre farm location where they host open-air events alongside hop fields, walking trails and greenhouses.

Ragged Island opened in March 2017. Specializing in IPAs, they currently aren’t bottling their brews, so visiting their taproom is your chance to enjoy a new favorite before it hits shelves. It’s your chance to be ahead of the crowd! Their taproom is open Wed – Sun & stays open until 9:00 on Fri & Sat.
