This is the BEST poutine in all of the Ottawa area. Carlo has a huge sign visible from the road (highway 366 through Masham). I have used the Carlo Pizza neighbouring location in the map because it is all Airbnb recognizes, but I am not recommending the pizza place next door, but I am recommending the poutine. It is a great place to stop about halfway up or halfway down from our cottage if you are hungry and looking to take a break from the road.

This local pizza and ice cream shop is very much a part of the summer experience in this part of Quebec. It's open all year round, but we generally go in the summer when we're looking for something sweet. Carlo's is about a 12 minute drive from Canoe Cove.

Carlos Chip wagon and Pizza is literally only a 5 minute drive from the cottage. They serve everything you would expect from an old fashioned chip bus but Vegas Style. Next door to the chip bus is the ice cream shop, and pizza parlour. They will even deliver to the cottage door.
