Traditional pub. Most of the pubs in Kings Cross and Potts Point are fairly soulless. I recommend you leave the suburb for an authentic pub experience. The East Sydney Hotel is a quaint, bohemian hangout.

Well this is about the first thing you see when you walk out the door. Its a bit like a country pub in the heart of the city and is well respected for their stance against pokies. There is also great jazz every Sunday afternoon, friendly staff, and although this venue properly belongs in the Drinks and Nightlife section, its worth noting that they have received a lot of recent attention in the media for their new vegan menu. There are still the old non-vega options available but the vegan spin on traditional pub grub is well worth checking out. And this is where you will meet all the locals

Cutest and I'd say best pub in the area. Pretty small, good crowd, easy like sunday morning.

Great for a couple of pints and a steak. Live Jazz music on Sunday nights is a must!
