This is a family owned and operated BBQ cafe. Great menu from BBQ, Brisket, ribs, wings, burgers, and craft beer. And a great selection of gluten free options. Everything here is really good. It's about 20 minutes away and worth the drive. Closed on Sundays and Mondays.

“Amazing food, some of the best around so there is always a line when they open at 5. Located at Rock Island, go visit the state park and stop by to eat. Great view on the river!”

“This place feels like "HOME". Owners are originally from WI/MN. Hanging out in the front yard, around the fire pit, under the trees just having a brew. Super relaxed place. They normally have 4 o choose from. Grab a glass or a growler. Open 7 days a week til 4p. We'd be happy to hang out with you here. :) They have lawn games and plenty of place to run if you have kids with. No food served!”

“The main trail to the Falls is a large undertaking, NOT for the casual hiker. Located not far from us. Takes a good 6 to 8 hrs to do the 8+ mile hike. If you want a much easier hike with an incredible view, take the Upperland trail (same starting point as the Falls, to Martha's Pretty Point & back. Takes a bout 2 hrs to do this 4 miler. There is primitive camping in areas in this natural area, including at Martha's Pretty point.”

Parque
“Rock Island State Park is an 883-acre park located on the headwaters of Center Hill Lake at the confluence of the Caney Fork, Collins and Rocky Rivers. The rugged beauty of the park includes the Caney Fork Gorge below Great Falls Dam. These overlooks are some of the most scenic and significant along the Eastern Highland Rim. Great Falls is a 30-foot horseshoe cascading waterfall, located below the 19th-century cotton textile mill that it powered over 100 years ago. Rock Island became a Tennessee State Park in 1969.”
