A nice big, shady park to come to with dogs. Enjoyable to walk the paths around the park and there are also fenced-in dog runs
Eagle Lake Park has miles of trails for walkers and bicyclists, a dog park, boardwalks through wetlands, a picnic area and playgrounds. It is home to squirrels, gopher tortoises, coyotes and otters that populate the property, and the bald eagles for which the park is named.
Approx 1 mile west on Belleair, this is a great walking park with lots of paths' for see Florida nature.
Eagle Lake Park is just a few minutes away. It’s a 10 minute bike ride or a very short drive to go explore the beautiful sprawling park. It has a playground for young kids, and several lakes with walking paths that you can explore. You might want to bring bread to feed the ducks and the turtles, and it’s not unlikely that you will spot an alligator.
