Confederate General Stonewall Jackson's headquarters from where he planned the 1862 Shenandoah Valley campaign.
Miller–Kite House, also known as Kite House, is a historic home located at Elkton, Rockingham County, Virginia. It was built in 1827, and is a two-story, five bay, "L"-shaped brick I-house dwelling. It has a cross-gable roof with eaves decorated with sawnwork filigree.
The museum is located in a house that served as the headquarters of General Stonewall Jackson during the beginning of the Shenandoah Valley Campaign. The exhibit features many items from the Civil War era and some articles belonging to Jackson. Open from May 29 to Sept. 4. Sunday only. Other hours by appointment.
