Beautiful estuary, great pubs (recommend the Swan) lovely walks, cycle network, rail link

A visit to our beautiful village is a must! The estuary with its amazing views across to Starcross, Dawlish Warren and Powderham Castle. There are also the most magnificent sunsets! We have 4 pubs with all serving food and all but one having outdoor seating, Suzannas coffee shop, a general store and post office. You will also find the train station (unmanned so purchase tickets either online or on the train). The Avocet line goes from Exmouth through to Exeter and beyond. The Exe Trail cycle and pedestrian path runs through the village and runs for 26 miles around the estuary.
