This is a lovely English pub which is well worth a try if you have a car. It’s a few kilometres from Bicester in a small village of Bucknell but going there even for the tea and scones is a worthwhile experience.

At The Trigger Pond, we put family values first. Great hospitality, value, warmth, and a home from home vibe. This isn’t your typical big pub style. This is all delivered with natural warmth and a genuine want to ensure your experience is perfect. We pride ourselves on seasonal ingredients, great British classics, home favourites and above all a BIG welcome every time. The Trigger Pond is perfect for a glass of fizz with the girls, a pint of real ale at the bar or a relaxed yet impressive lunch or dinner. It’s the perfect spot for a weekend get-togthers in the country, or for private family parties. We offers bespoke meals and can arrange exclusive hire or small weddings. We have the best beer garden in the vicinity and aim to simply deliver the the best Sunday roast for miles. Come try us out and tell us what you think….but remember strangers are only friends we haven’t met yet and to tell at least 1 person what a gem you have found. Warm Glowing fires, Great food, great value, stunning country pub set just far enough away from Bicester town. We are doggy-friendly.

Great pub only 10 minutes drive / cab ride away. Serves fab wholesome food and a wonderful selection of gin!
