The food is good but the atmosphere is something everyone should experience at least once. Some say it is haunted but I have never seen or experienced anything but the bar is absolutely beautiful. Be sure to read the historical marker out front.

The Palace Saloon has one of the oldest artisan wood bars in the State, and your bartender and waitress will serve you in 1890s wester attire. Meet local Prescottonian historians for a drink every Thursday afternoon at 4 pm.

The oldest operating bar and business in all of Arizona, the atmospheric Palace Restaurant and Saloon lies on Whiskey Row and dates all the way back to 1877. Like the rest of the saloons along the street, it also burned down during the infamous fire of 1900 before bouncing back, rebuilding, and reopening for business just under a year later.
