A big, white sand beach adjacent to a shaded park with plenty of grills and picnic tables.

Another great Sarasota beach. There is a nice trail that leads to canals and mangrove, great for a jog, or cycle or just a nice walk. If you have a kayak make sure to venture through the canals. There are barbecue pits where you can grill out, they also have playground where you can take your kids. Fun for all ages, solo travelers or groups. Make sure to get there early if you are going on the weekend or you will have a tough time finding parking.

My go-to beach on the weekends with friends. If you get there early, you can find a grill and picnic table.
