A great place for a day trip - excellent souvenir shopping, hand made ethnic jewellery, riverside stroll, fish restaurants, take a mini tour with a mud Bath upriver, or catch a river boat downstream on Dalyan delta, passing famous Kaunos tombs, relax some time on Iztuzu's protected sandy beach, made famous by Kaptan June who kept it natural so caretta caretta turtles can breed here. Visit the turtle rehabilation centre by bus from Dalyan's otobus park.

Dalyan is our nearest town and is the place to buy provisions. There is plenty to do in and around Dalyan, like shopping, taking a boat trip through the reed beds to the sea or to Lake Koceğiz, eating out, strolling along the river
