Unika taproom, a brewery in the highlands out of Florianópolis, notable for its "unique" variations with fruit and spices. It also makes several "traditional" styles. The highlight is the "East Coast IPA", a very clear looking IPA that is a lot like a hopped-up lager, very popular in Floripa nowadays (also being made by several other brewers, including Kairós in Jurerê). They say Unika invented it...I can't say for sure, all I can say is that it's good! This taproom is on the roof of the Beiramar Shopping Mall and it has outdoor seating on a deck area, with spectacular views over the North Bay. Their hamburger is one of the best in town.
