>> An ideal spot to visit with the free mountain bikes included with your room, it also connects to a biking/walking trail through the woods! To get to the rest of the biking trail that branches out from the Municipal Park, you cross the road towards the McDonald's and enter the parking lot to the right of it, you'll see a green rounded triangle sign that marks a cycling/walking trail through the woods that, if you go straight on it, connects to the Tupper Lake Train Station. The park itself has two covered picnic areas and a boat launch that is perfect for launching a canoe or kayak. Nearby is a dock perfect to sit on for those who want to dip their feet in the water. The paved trail through the park is dotted with newly installed benches, so you don't have to worry if you didn't bring seating with you. The park is connected to the Empire League Baseball field and also contains the Tupper Lake Bandshell, which hosts a sunset concert every Monday and occasional performances on other days. This area has many Pokéstops and Gyms for those who enjoy Pokémon GO. It's beautiful and quiet and a perfect place to bring some snacks and spend the evening. This park has public restrooms.
