Just up the street you can walk through the paths in the woods or a paved path through the state park. In the summer time they have a fountain / pool for little kids to splash around in to beat the heat!
This has so many choices of landscape... meadow, pine forest, along the Ipswich River, down a quaint paved road. Your bound to see riders on horseback here.
Bradley Palmer State Park is a public recreation area covering 736 acres on the Ipswich River in the towns of Hamilton and Topsfield, MA. The state park was once the estate of noted attorney Bradley Palmer. In addition to an extensive system of multi-use trails, the park features Palmer's restored Willowdale Mansion.
