This is our favorite hike in Zion National Park. But be warned, this hike is very strenuous, but very worth it. ALL the other trails in Zion National Park are great as well, we love them all.

One of the best hikes in the park. Get their early though!! Summer months I recommend getting the earliest shuttle you can. Pack water, snacks, and a light jacket if you get cold (refrigerator canyon can get cold). Please don't feed the wildlife as they become aggressive and bite people. Be courteous as it can get busy. Have fun! It's amazing!

Strenuous Hike Angels Landing via West Rim Trail Shuttle Stop to Start from: #6 The Grotto Pets: No Trailhead Location: Across the road from the shuttle stop and then across the footbridge. Distance (round-trip): 5.4 mi / 8.7 km Elevation Change: 1,488 ft / 453 m Estimated Hiking Time: 4 hours Description: Long drop-offs. NOT FOR YOUNG CHILDREN OR ANYONE FEARFUL OF HEIGHTS!! Last section is a route along a steep, narrow ridge to the summit.
