Stunning historic art deco Sacramento theatre (c. 1912) near downtown Sacramento. Look up their updated schedule while you're in town! They are always playing interesting movies. It's also located in K Street, which is a very busy and bustling part of Sacramento in the evenings- though it is more appropriate for adults in the evenings, due to the number of bars on K Street.

Restored art deco theater. They rarely show new releases, but check their calendar for film festivals, classic movies, and concerts.

Gorgeous Art Deco theatre booking live shows and screening films. Bonus! There's a great bar, Empress Tavern, in the basement.

Iconic Art Deco Theater in Downtown not far from Golden One Center & new DOCO Plaza. This is where you go to see very high quality performers who aren't necessarily playing the large venue circuit. Every seat is a good seat so don't be afraid to buy a "cheap seat."

The Crest Theater looks almost as it did when it opened in 1947. It is absolutely stunning. There are movies, bands and much more that play at The Crest. Consider yourself lucky if you have to opportunity to see a show in this grand movie palace.
