Lots of activities during nighttime. Nice atmosphere for strolling around in the evening. Named after the Filipino hero José Rizal, who was one of the masterminds of the uprising against the Spanish colonial power. He was executed by the Spanish in 1896.
The boulevard is considered as one of the most captivating attractions in the city. Also a historical site because Dr. Jose Rizal, Philipppine National hero, wandered along this serene and beautiful shores before his exile to Dapitan. A great place for walking, hanging out or just catching the sea breeze . The place is steaming with locals and street vendors at night.
