One taste of this place and you know it sits head and shoulders above most Chinese restaurants in the city. Don't judge a book by its cover, and look past the dated interior to understand why Chop Suey is probably the most authentic joint for Sichuanese and Cantonese in the area. I had their dan dan noodles once and was instantly hooked. But also try other specialties like the twice-cooked pork, salt & pepper mixed seafood, beef with mustard leaves and eggplant with minced pork and let me know what you think. Leave the beef with broccoli and combination fried rice for when you go to the regular places. Give yourself the chance to wade into deeper waters of Chinese gastronomy and you'll thank me for it.

Straightforward Chinese standbys served in a traditionally decorated space with a lunch buffet. "Great food and fast service".
