Wide road to walk, run or bike along the Platt River with the canyon walls on both sides. Very gentle uphill going in, downhill coming out. Big Horn Sheep often seen. 6 miles in to the dam and Colorado Trail trailhead but one can turn around anytime.
Easy hike on flat road along river and often can spot Big Horn Sheep. It is a beautiful walk or run.
This is a gradual ascent into a canyon that is home to bighorn sheep. Spring and Fall are the best time to hike, but summer is ok if you start early or late.
