This 3.8 mile loop trail through the Eno River State Park is one of the hidden gems in the area. The parking facility is on a ridge near a swinging foot bridge at the widest part of the waterway - which means that within minutes of the start of your hike, you have amazing, picturesque scenery. Dogs love running through the shallows.
