Hill 88

It’s my favorite hike in the Bay Area, so worth the drive over the Golden Gate Bridge. On a sunny day, you can’t beat the view of the city skyline from the Marin Headlands. The trail is never crowded, and it’s a gorgeous two-and-a-half-mile climb to the top, a thousand feet above Rodeo Beach. I love this hike even when it’s foggy. You still get the smell of the redwoods and the coastal air.
