In Salcombe town about 5/10 min walk downhill there are a number of small restaurants and cafes to choose from, I’d recommend The WardRoom for brunch- the porridge is amazing- yes really!! It’s on Fore Street (the Main Street through town) right next to the White Strand car park (or walk straight through Crew Clothing shop).

Has the most beautiful view of the harbor, great for cream tea, cake or breakfast etc. (Located at the back of Crew Clothing or accessible from White Strand car park).

Lovely breakfasts (eg. egg or crab benedict), tasty lunches from Caesar salad or crab linguine to a luxury fish finger sandwich or soup. They have a lovely selection of cakes and an delicious cream tea with a fabulous view overlooking the estuary. Occasionally in the evenings during the summertime with really nice quality food.

The Wardroom sits right by the waters edge and has numerous tables outside where you can sit and watch the world go by. The bi-fold doors open to allow those sitting indoors the have feeling of being outside.
