Temple Of Literature is also known as Van Thanh or Van Mieu Hue, which is majestically situated on the bank of Huong River, to the west of the Citadel, about 1km away from the prestigious Linh Mu pagoda. Though it is not a too famous sight in regard to Hue attractions, it still brings a new experience for those who want to enjoy some special religious and spiritual feelings. This spot is dedicated to worshipping and memorizing Confucius, which is a common practice in a lot of Asian countries, like Vietnam, China, Japan and Korea.
