Bónus stores are open on weekdays and weekends and operate under a yellow banner showing an obese cheeky piggy bank that is probably meant to symbolise the overgrown monopoly happily taking all your hard earned money away. Also located at Laugavegur and Hallveigastígur. The cheapest Supermarket chain in Iceland. (note: do not shop at a store called 10/11 as it is super expensive).

This is where the locals shop, stay away from places like 10/11, 11/11 or any other grocery stores you might come across.. Bonus and Kronan are the only budget friendly grocery stores in iceland.
