Learn sake making process and try fresh brew. Admission 300 yen with a small souvenir bottle. Open daily except Aug 13 - 16 and Dec 28 - Jan 4.
You can taste hand made sake in the manufacture. Good quality sake sold only inside so it is nice for trying. There are many Sake manufactures around and you can drink pure sake at restaurants around. Recommend you try a local Japanese restaurant around here on the way back.
A sake museum. There are also local sake breweries nearby. A great neighborhood to visit! It's usually not too crowded.
sake in Japanese refers to alcohol in general. In Japan, the preferred word for rice wine is "Nihonshu."If you would like to find out more about nihonshu and brewing, the museum may interest you.
