Get this.... Heavy-metal themed joint serving Turkish-inspired kebabs, flatbreads and beers! How's that for original. This place is tiny. It's also loud, it's fun and the food is delicious!

Black Axe Mangal is, arguably, the jewel in Highbury’s crown. Only BAM wouldn’t really wear a crown. Unless it was drunk, naked, and air guitaring to Queens of the Stone Age. Then it would wear a crown. Come to this little, smoky delight if you want to have fun and eat fun food. Because that’s what BAM’s about.

Just off Highbury corner, this place has people queuing up for hours but with good reason. They serve up the best Turkish-inspired kebabs in town along with, flatbreads and beers while loud rock music blasts away.
