Dogs roam free at this craft brewery in Oakland, and the staff is super friendly and always asks me, "Can I give your dog water? Can I give your dog treats? Can I give your friend a treat?" They're not just tolerating your dog, they're excited to see her. I order the sampler, which is $8 for four generous pours that let you try new recipes they’re working on. In the Oakland Hills nearby, Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve is an amazing place for off-leash dogs. It's also a ranch that keeps cows that are used to dogs roaming around, so it's a cool way to introduce the dog to other domestic animals. I like the Round Loop Trail, part way through it there’s a labyrinth you can walk.
