Fountainstown beach is located 10 minutes by car from the property. There are two beach areas (rocky not sandy) and is popular with sea swimmers as well as walkers.

Fountainstown beach is adjacent to Myrtleville about 2km along the Coast Road. It has a very accessible shingle beach which is good for swimming. During the summer you can hire Kayaks here from Funkytown. At low tide a huge sandbank called the Backstrand emerges next to Fountainstown beach which is great for walks. There is also Angela's cafe/shop opposite the beach.

Wide open beach in a calm harbor. Beautiful views, walks and swimming. Lifeguards onsite. Great parking. And a small shop for tea/coffee and sweets
