This a great place to grab a gin cocktail and watch the boats sail by. Always worth calling ahead and booking. It's a great place to visit on the way to or from Man O' War bay and winery.

Awesome drive, stop here after visiting ManOwar Bay. Superb home made gin, food also available and the view is drop dead gorgeous! Waiheke Distilling Co is set on the ridge above Cowes Bay. The distillery has been respectfully established to sit alongside and meld within structures that resonate the farming history of the area. Former pasture land has been painstakingly developed into a garden that exemplifies the botanical story of the product produced, bottled and served onsite.

Best saved for a sunny day, sitting outside on the beanbags enjoying a works class view across to the Coromandal. Their gin is worth the trip too and the oysters were sensational. Make sure you have a sober driver though as the roads are rather treacherous, and after one or two gins it’s wise not to attempt the drive home!
