The home of John Howard, an architect and prominent Toronto citizen back in the mid-1800's. It is now a museum and offers guided tours by knowledgeable historians. High Park was the Howard's property, which he gifted to the city of Toronto under the condition that it remain parkland. Just west of Colborne Lodge is a stone monument where John and Jemima Howard are buried. It is surrounded by a portion of iron fencing from St. Paul's Cathedral in London.
