This is a cave full of sand and arched windows high up on the hillside near Moqui Caves that is a quick and fun stopping point. The hike is short yet somewhat steep. You will learn the red rock hillsides are easy going up and a little trickier coming down. It is definitely doable for all ages but hold the hands of your little ones. The views are impressive and the picture opportunities are great!

Unique cave system 10 min from Kanab. Easy short hike up doable with kids, fun experience, and cool photo ops.

Steep cliffs but well worth it! This hike is starting to get popular - best to go during “off” hours. The photos you take in the caves will blow your mind.

Cool little spot to check out just north of town. You park on the west side of 89 and scramble up the rock ledge. They are pretty popular but it's fun, quick easy adventure.

A short hike up a rock wall will take you up to beautiful caves (don't be confused by the Moqui Cave museum, the parking lot for this trail is located past the museum on the right of the highway). Time spent here: 1 hour max, more of a scenic view than a hike Time of Day: any time of day, but it is a great spot to catch sunset! A full day could be, from us: Leave Cane Beds in the morning and head to Sand Caves then to Belly of the Dragon. Lunch at Wild Thyme Cafe and then hike the Toadstools in the late afternoon/early evening to avoid direct sun and catch the sunset at the Toadstools!
