An historical place and quite a steep hike, you'll get beautiful views of the valley from the top. Beware of Catskills insects and wild animals while on the trail. The trail has little to less marks, so daytime is definitely preferable for safety. You can also bring your furry little best friend with you. Because it's so steep, please bring extra water for you and your pups. It gets quite hot in the summer. Some people also carry walking sticks because the path is quite steep and narrow.
