Hidden Gem Alert! This is an extensive trail system in the heart of North Bay! Breathtaking waterfall that you can easily walk to visit, or pack a bag and some hiking shoes and head out on a scenic hike.

Warning - this is a moderately challenging hike! This trail is a loop of approximately 3 km. Duchesnay Falls starts as a series of low, picturesque cascades on the river. The river soon breaks into two main channels, each which tumbles over several different waterfalls. The west channel carries well over half of the river's discharge and has two main waterfalls.

Planning spend a day North Bay? If you enjoy hiking, you might consider visiting Duchesnay Falls. It's scenic and neither too strenuous (for adults, might be too challenging for small children) or too long. Hosts recommendation - Pack/apply insect repellent.
