ORANGE BEACH This requires a little time in the car, but some of the offerings there are well worth it. PIRATE SHIP ADVENTURE Highly Recommended! If you have children, one of the fun things I suggest, is to go on the pirate ship adventure at Hudson Marina on Orange Beach. Don’t forget hats, sunglasses, and plenty of sunscreen for the little ones. Make sure to charge your phone so you can take plenty of pictures. It’s about a 2-hour trip on a pirate ship where everyone (adults included!!!) gets to play games, learn some pirate lingo, sing songs, and hunt for buried treasure! The marina also offers chartered trips as well. You can book a 4- or 6-hour trip on what they call a “party boat”. The boat holds about 80 people and they take you out a few miles over a reef and you will then bottom fish for a nice variety of fish. They provide all the tackle and bait and sometimes they have a special going for $59.00 per person for a 4-hour trip. You can rent jet skis, pontoon boats or even go parasailing out of Hudson Marina www.hudsonmarina.net.
