For meat lover! Established in 1981 as one of the first “fine dining” restaurants in Queenstown, Megs has continued to lead the field by being the only restaurant in the area to receive 17 consecutive NZ Beef & Lamb Hallmark of Excellence Gold plates (incl. 2015). Other accolades include the recent NZ Beef & Lamb Central Otago & Lakes District Lamb Dish of the Year and People's Choice competitions.

An institution in Queenstown. The restaurant isn't located in the best of places and the staff aren't quite efficient, but if you can look past this the venison alone is well worth the visit.
