Where else would you hold the Mods and Rockers following the 1964 clash on Brighton Beach!! This museum is run by retired police officers who give you an insight to their work life. I've visited twice and heard very different storied each time.

These were closed to prisoners in 1922 but it has reopened as a police museum. They also organise paranormal tours here on Saturday evenings as it is filled with ghosts of previous felons.

The Old Police Cells Museum is dedicated to charting the history of policing in Sussex from 1830 to the present day. A fascinating glimpse into the past. Come and see where the first Brighton Chief Constable was murdered and the graffiti of the mods and rockers era and so much more.

Fascinating museum in the original police cells below Brighton Town Hall. Gives you a real sense of the history of the development of a police force in Britain. Tours guided by a retired member of Sussex Police, so he has some very interesting stories to tell.
