Beautiful dismissed elevated railway. underneath some interesting shops and activities are picking up: do not miss the Urban Bakery, close to Eudokiaplein: good coffee, and stunning cupcakes.

'De Hofbogen' is a monumental old railroad track which runs 2,5 km from the citycentre to the north ring road. Under the arches you find lots of small and medium businesses, designshops, artisans, studios and artists. The track is being restored and there are plans to build a park on the roof, where the tracks used to be.

Inspired by The High Line in NY, the Hofbogen is one of those new, projects that add to the city's flair. Restaurants, shops and creative businesses situated underneath a former railroad track.
