Lovely Gardens. NON PROFIT organization. Interesting classes. Great destination for a wedding. There is a nice cafe on site so go for the walk and stay for the tea.

Butchart Gardens is great but if you want something a little more low key stop by the Horticultural Centre of the Pacific and while you're there have lunch at the beautiful adjoining restaurant, Charlotte and the Quail.

The Horticulture Centre of the Pacific (HCP) presents a year-round botanical garden experience that everyone can enjoy and learn from. Smaller scale than Butchart Gardens but still beautiful and diverse. The on-site Cafe, Charlotte & the Quail, provides an ever-changing menu with local, seasonal ingredients, including fresh produce grown by HCP volunteers in the veggie garden.

The Gardens at HCP (formerly Glendale Gardens & Woodland) includes over nine acres of gardens on a 103 acre site in Saanich, just outside Victoria, BC. These lovely gardens are set in a conservation park with nature trails, wetlands and bird watching sites. Victoria's mild pacific winters allow for year round gardening.
