Indonesian Bistro with a nice terrace or heated outdoor tables. It's Mabuhay is an Indonesian restaurant (with an Indonesian owner) with a small terrace near the German Technological Museum. Very good option to eat cheaply in the area and escape at least one day from currywurst and sauerkraut.

This is also one of our favourite Berlin spots to eat out. Its very small and usually filled with young people, because its attached to a student dorm. But if you are looking for a taste of asian flavour in Berlin, this is the place to go. It has really authentic Indonesian street food and its very cheap. However reserve a table because it gets busy. Expect to pay about 25 EUR for two persons.
